Three steps from the invitation to your first lesson
It usually starts with an invitation from your teacher. No teacher yet? Same order — you just take the first step yourself.
- Open the invitationThe link arrives by email. If you were given a code, paste it under My Courses
- Fill in a short formYou enter your name, interface language, native language and time zone.
- Enter your school's invite codeIf you received an invite code, enter it on the “My Courses” page

In the lesson
One button opens the lesson
No third-party links, no meeting passwords, no wondering where to go. It works like a video call, with the lesson open beside it for both of you.
The lesson opens automatically as soon as your teacher starts it.
You are not watching the lesson, you are taking part in it
Your lesson can include exercises, images, text or a YouTube video. Your teacher sees everything you write or highlight while the lesson is still happening — so it is easy to point out the places you want to show them. Your edits to the lesson text stay with you after the lesson, as notes you can always come back to and review the material.

Your answers save themselves as you write, so a closed tab loses nothing. When the work is done, you send it to your teacher or finish the lesson.
Your notes stay in the lesson
Every lesson becomes your own notebook, where you can leave a note for yourself or for your teacher. An example, a translation or a rule you add will still be there a month later.
In a one-to-one lesson the document is seen by two people: you and your teacher. In a group lesson it is shared, so everything you write is visible to the whole group.

Tools within reach
Translate and collect new words without leaving the lesson
No dictionary in another tab, no stepping away from the lesson. Select the word to translate it or hear it instantly.
- TranslateSelect the button to translate a word and view synonyms. You can also add the word to your personal vocabulary and review it with flashcards
- ListenSelect a word or sentence to hear how it is pronounced. This action uses AI credits.
The dictionary works even when the lesson is read-only, and every word from the class is collected in the “Lesson words” list. Translation is free — a word or a whole phrase — and so is a word's pronunciation in the translation card. Only Listen, which reads a selection aloud, spends AI credits.

The translation icon in the lesson's right margin opens a panel. The language pair is a switch, so you can translate out of the lesson's language and back into it — for when you want to say something of your own and do not know how.

Your progress saves itself while you work through the lesson
You work through gap-fills, multiple choice, matching, word order, voice recording and essays. Nothing to download and send back.
- Undo what you just didCtrl + Z (⌘ + Z on a Mac) works as it does in a text editor, and undoes only your own edits
- Check on the spotThe Check button and the Progress panel show how many are right, and on which try
- Start overThe “Clear answers” button appears when your teacher has allowed resets
- Clear selected answersSelect the exercises you need and choose “Clear answers” to clear attempts only in those exercises
- AI-graded work can stayA full clear asks first: keep the AI-graded exercises, or clear everything
- Lesson timerThe timer above the lesson shows how long it has been running, helping you plan your time.
For homework, resets are off by default: your teacher wants to see the real first attempt. When resetting is unavailable, a notice at the top of the lesson says “Answer reset disabled”. And once the time runs out or your teacher closes the work, the lesson turns read-only — then nothing can be reset at all.
You can ask someone even when you study alone
The Ask AI assistant opens inside the lesson and answers using its material instead of giving generic responses.

The Ask AI button is there in a live class and while you work through homework on your own. Answers use AI credits; the balance is in Billing.
Message your teacher without interrupting the lesson
A small panel over the document, for sharing a link, asking about a word, or saying that the sound dropped out.

Between lessons
The lesson's words come back for review on their own
A word you add in class lands in your vocabulary, and from there in flashcards with spaced repetition.
- View your words under “My Vocabulary” in your accountYou can edit and expand your vocabulary right there.
- Add words as a listOn the vocabulary page, paste your collected words as a list, add them to the vocabulary you need, and then review them with flashcards
- Your own vocabulariesCreate up to three vocabularies to organize the words you are learning, such as “Work”, “From lessons”, and “For the exam”
You can review without leaving the platform. Five minutes of flashcards between classes is easier to keep up than an hour of cramming the night before.
Reschedule a lesson right from its card
No messenger thread you will never find again. Your teacher gets a notification, and the decision stays in the schedule.
- CancelYou can cancel an individual lesson when more than 12 hours remain before it starts
- RescheduleYou can request to reschedule a lesson if your teacher offers this option
- Under 12 hours to go?Cancelling is closed, rescheduling is not — that is the way out
The exam and the certificate
An exam opens with its rules, not with a surprise
An exam lesson opens on a dialog that states how long you have, how many attempts you get and when the results appear. None of it is discovered along the way.
- The clock starts when you beginThe countdown starts after you select “Start”
- One attempt, answers saved for youKeep the tab open until the submission has finished
- Results come after you finishDuring the exam, the platform does not show whether an answer is correct. You will see the results after they have been reviewed.
A passed exam can carry a certificate
Your school may issue you a certificate after you pass the exam if your course includes one
Once the certificate is ready it appears on the lesson page, is marked on that lesson in your past lessons, and arrives by email as a PDF.
