How does the per-student rate work?

Each band's rate applies only to the active students inside that band. The estimator adds the bands up for the seat count you enter. The first 5 active students are free; after that, graduated rates and a $5.00 monthly minimum apply.

What counts as a student?

A student is anyone enrolled in one of your courses. The same person enrolled in multiple courses still counts as one student toward your plan limit.

How is AI lesson creation priced?

Lesson content is charged per generated section. Images and audio are billed separately; you can see their current costs in the table below before you spend anything.

What happens when I use up my monthly allowance for the advanced tools?

You can keep using supported advanced tools and pay the listed price only when you use them. Costs vary by feature and are shown in the table below before you are charged. Your existing lessons and courses stay yours to reuse.

How do school subscriptions work?

A school pays from the same per-student scale. Teachers and admins are included, while enterprise contracts and white-label services are handled through sales. A branded Locuto.PRO subdomain is free; a custom domain costs $30.00 per month.

Is there a discount for annual billing?

The commitment term and the saving are shown beside the estimator. The discounted amount is still invoiced monthly.

How does pay-as-you-go pricing work, and what does everything cost?

Optional tools are charged in dollars only when you use them. The minimum top-up, top-up bonuses, free-plan allowance, and per-feature prices are all shown on this page. Paid self-study plans for students start at $5.99 per month.

Do unused funds expire?

Funds you add stay separate from monthly plan allowances and do not expire while your account remains active. Amounts already spent on generation or other pay-as-you-go tools cannot be returned; contact support for payment-specific questions.

Do the prices include VAT?

All prices shown are net (VAT excluded). Any applicable VAT is calculated and added at checkout based on your billing location, and you receive a VAT invoice. EU business customers can enter their VAT ID during checkout to apply the reverse-charge mechanism.

Does Educator Paid include unlimited Cards for the whole school?

Yes. While the school's Educator Paid plan remains effective, every active member — across all school roles — gets unlimited Cards training in supported web and mobile apps. Access follows that person's account, but does not expand access to school data and does not include Premium Season Pass rewards.
