Does student progress save automatically?

Yes — exercise answers save immediately and general progress saves every 60 seconds. If a timed lesson expires, answers are preserved as-is. Students can resume any lesson from the point they left off.

How does vocabulary practice work?

Students can have up to 3 vocabulary lists per language. Words are added from the Vocabulary page or inline during a lesson by selecting text and choosing "Translate selected." Practice uses spaced repetition at cards.locuto.pro — struggling words appear more often, mastered words less frequently.

How do classes work for scheduling?

Classes are named collections tied to a specific course. Class live sessions include per-student attendance tracking. Teachers can score each student across 7 skill dimensions (speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, engagement) per lesson. Classes support recurring sessions (daily, weekly, biweekly) and have a statistics tab with attendance tiers — Perfect (>90%), Regular (70–90%), Irregular (40–70%), At Risk (above 0% but under 40%), and Absent (0%).

Can I use Locuto.PRO for timed exams?

Yes. Every lesson has a configurable time limit (up to 480 minutes). When time expires, all widgets lock automatically and answers are preserved. The timer only runs while the browser tab is active — switching tabs pauses it.

Can multiple teachers edit the same lesson at the same time?

Yes. The editor merges simultaneous edits automatically, so teachers can work in the same lesson without overwriting each other. Each collaborator gets a colored live cursor with their name, and changes appear on other screens near-instantly.

Can the platform create audio and images inside a lesson?

Yes. Listening sections can use generated dialogue or monologue scripts and convert them to audio with configurable voices and emotional tags. Image sections can create visual assets during the lesson preparation flow and store them with the lesson.
