My Year in England
Last September, I moved to Bristol to study English. At first, the city seemed bigger and noisier than my hometown, and I was missing my family. I used to spend every evening online, but now I enjoy meeting people face to face. I have already made friends from six countries, and I have never tried so many different foods. My school is in an old building that was built in 1890. Classes start at nine, so students must arrive on time, but we do not have to wear uniforms. Yesterday, while I was walking to class, I saw a street musician who was playing my favourite song. I stopped to listen because he was amazing. Next month, I will visit London. If the weather is good, I will go to the park, which is said to be beautiful in spring. I need to save enough money because hotels are too expensive. Could you tell me where I can find a cheap one? I think this year has changed me: I am more confident, and I want to keep improving.
